Egon Urban Moroder de Rusina

alias EGON RUSINA

Born in the hospital (sounds sad) in Bressanone/Pursenu/Brixen in the South Tyrol on July 15, 1949. Was brought home after a week between his loved mountains (mother says she was not allowed to get up and go to the sink in her hospital room before four days after delivery at those times). He must have dreamed a lot in his enchanted village with history and fear. A family of artists on both fathers and mothers side. Anda Rusina his mother grandmother, a shopkeeper, learned drawing at the local art school under teacher Sotriffer. The grandfather of his fathers side (Prof. Ludwig Moroder de Lenert) was a renowned sculptor and taught hundreds of wood sculptors in Ortisei.
